Larissa Scott ,a student in the McKinley high school and her friends Troy Murphy ,Bree Taylor and Jerry Grant travel to New York by bus.Larissa has a premonition of the bus exploding and warns everyone to leave.The bus driver Carl Allen forces the rest of the tourists to leave the bus.The tourists who leave are identified as 3 girls and 5 boys.The girls are Hannah Curtis ,Amanda Wainwright andDiana Banks .The boys are Phil Gibbs ,Martin Glenn ,Earnest Larkin ,Neil Lyons and Will Dwyer .

1 month after Larissa's premonition she and Troy go to William Bludworth's place to ask him about Larissa's premonition.Bludworth tells them the only way to beat death is to make a sacrifice.Later that night Martin and Will play football at Will's house.Phil and Earnest watch them and drink beer.Phil throws his beer can and Will slips on it.The ball hits a rock which penetratets Will's left eye.On the next day a funeral for Will is held.Martin blames Phil for Will's death and fights with him.Earnest stops the fight.On the same night while showering Amanda is stabbed 13 times with a machete in the back by Troy.The next day Diana and Hannah go to the cinema to watch a horror movie about vampires.Troy shows up at the movie and stabs Diana with his machete in the stomach and drinks her blood.That way Troy becomes a vampire.Hannah runs out of the casino and nearly gets hit by a bus but is saved by Larissa.Troy hides from the light in the cinema.Bree and Jerry search for him along with Larissa.Martin crashes his bike into Phil's car and fights again with him.Phil gets his chainsaw from inside his house and decapitates Martin.Jerry find Troy hiding under a seat in the cinema and Troy kills him with his machete.Bree sees what Troy did to Jerry and steals his machete.Troy runs after Bree and strangles her to death.Earnest and Neil go to the cinema and Troy ignite them on fire with a molotov.Larissa and Hannah find Troy and he dies from being overexposed by the sun.Hannah saves Larissa from a flying tire from a car explosion and Phil is crushed by it.Carl nearly gets killed by a bike.3 months later Larissa and Hannah meet at a museum.One of the statues crushes Hannah's head.A pair of swords fly through Larissa and impales her in the jaw.

Carl's house burns to the ground and he is incinerated inside.William Bludworth is shown with the 13 survivors in coffins in the morgue and he laughs at their demise.
