James is the survivor of the Detroit Amusement Park Incident and a supporting protagonist of the first Final Destination FanFiction, Final Destination: Duplicate. He was a photographer at the Detroit Amusement Park, who offered the group of friends some free photos of them, and later become one of their main ally against death order.

As The Group Arrives At Detroit Amusement Park, James Says That He Is Taking Pictures For Free, Rose And Pamela Are Exited, James Takes Pictures Of Rose And Pamela And Himself, James Takes A Picture Of Rose Again But Suddenly She Remembers The Arcade Explosion, She Moves Her Head And Arms While James Takes A Photo Of Them, Making Rose Look Blurred In The Picture.

Rose And Sophia Both Freak Out As They Both Got The Premonition, Rose Takes Sophia's Seat And Pamela Takes Katie's Seat While Jonathan Takes James Seat, While Katie Takes Pamela's Original Seat, James Takes Jonathan's Original Seat And Sophia Takes Rose's Seat, Reversing The List Like In The Premonition, Rose Realizes That The Seat Switching Happened In The Premonition And Manages To Get Everyone In Death's List Out, The Disaster Happens.

They Call James, Asking Him Where He Is, James Says That He Is Washing His Hands, Katie Says That There Is Nothing Related To Water In The Picture Since They Didn't Anything Related To Water In The Photo, So They Head To James' House. James Disconnects The Call And His Nokia Falls Onto The Ground, He Accidently Spills A Cup Of Water And Slips On Another Water Puddle And Activates The Sink Which Overloads, He Reaches Out For His Nokia But Realizes That He Would Get Electrocuted, The Water From The Overloaded Sink Splashes Out And Is About To Drown James, But Sophia And Katie Comes And Rescues James, They Find A Water Advertisement Sign And Says That A Pattern Happened And Knew That James Was Next, They Find Another Picture Not From Detroit Amusement Park That Shows A 16 Year Old James Flipping A Water Bottle, With His Nokia Under The Bottle.
Katie Says That Jonathan Must Be Next So They Go Outside, While Jonathan Is In His Room Playing Car Video Games, A Kid Plays With A Fire Hydrant And Accidently Unscrews It, The Water Comes Out And Sprays A Car Which Distracts It And The Car Bumps Into A Tree, The Tree Falls Down And Breaks The Car In Half Sending A Tire Into Jonathan's Room, Crushing Him Between The Wall And The Tire.
Outside, A Minute After Jonathan's Death, The 3 Had To Find Jonathan Even Though He Was Dead, Sophia Finds A Hole In James' House And Finds Jonathan's Crushed Body, They Hear A Phone Call From Jonathan's Nokia From A Company Called "Semitruck", A Semitruck Comes About To Kill Them 3 But Someone Else A Male Walks Up And He Is Hit Instead.
